After take off, the engine is shut down and all you hear is, well, nothing except the wind over your wings. Important Information:

• FAA regulations limit the passenger's weight to 210 pounds. Please be sure to tell us when you schedule your flight if you are over 190 pounds so we can plan appropriately for a safe flight.
  
  
• We can accommodate one passenger up to 6' 5" tall.
  
  
• People who use wheelchairs are welcome.
  
  
• Flights are, or course, weather dependent. If weather conditions force cancellation of a flight, we will call you.
  
  
• We fly in the Seattle/Puget Sound area during the good weather, usually early summer to early fall. When the weather in Seattle starts to get wet, we follow the sun south.

Self-Launching Convenience with a Back Up Engine

Our motorized, self-launching glider lets us give you a better, more diverse flight than we would be able to in a pure glider that needs to be towed. With our auxiliary engine, we can fly where ever, from Olympia to the San Juans, or fly later and see a sunset and the beautiful lights of the city at night. We can motor to areas where the soaring is good. And if the air lift fails, we can motor home. It's just like a sailboat with an engine, so you can go where you want to, even when nature isn't cooperating. The engine can be re-started during the flight at any time, assuring that your flight will last the full length of time.

With our self-launching glider, you have the best of both worlds. The engine is there when you need it and silent when you don't.
